LABORATORY TESTING SERVICES

CHEMISTRY LABORATORY
The chemistry laboratory was originally developed to perform physical property tests on activated carbon. The capability of this department has been extensively expanded. For details see Chemistry Laboratory Services.

RADIOISOTOPE LABORATORY
The radioisotope laboratory is equipped with instrumentation to quantitatively and qualitatively measure the concentration of radioisotopes in various materials. Techniques and procedures are also in place to measure the capability of adsorbents to remove radioisotopes from air streams (radioiodines for example). NUCON has a License to Receive Radioactive Materials.
